Description:

Foxtail Millet(1kg)- Daily consumption of 50g of whole foxtail millet has been shown to significantly reduce blood pressure (both systolic and diastolic), body mass index, body fat percentage, and fat mass in untreated mildly hypertensive subjects. This suggests that incorporating foxtail millet into the diet may have beneficial effects on blood pressure management and body composition in individuals with mild hypertension.

Little Millet (1kg)- Little millet may also have beneficial effects on blood pressure. While specific studies on the effects of little millet on blood pressure may be limited, its nutrient profile, including high fiber content and essential minerals, suggests potential benefits for cardiovascular health. Consuming little millet as part of a balanced diet may contribute to overall blood pressure management.

Kodo Millet(500gs) -Magnesium, found abundantly in kodo millet, plays a crucial role in regulating blood pressure and reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes. It helps to relax blood vessels, which promotes healthy blood flow and lowers blood pressure. Additionally, magnesium supports heart health by preventing the formation of blood clots and reducing inflammation, which are essential for managing conditions like atherosclerosis.

Barnyard Millet(500gs)- Barnyard millet, similar to other millets, contains nutrients that may contribute to cardiovascular health, including fiber, magnesium, and potassium. These nutrients have roles in regulating blood pressure by promoting blood vessel dilation, reducing sodium retention, and supporting overall heart function.

Mixed Millet Java Powder-This nutritious blend typically includes various millets like foxtail, pearl, and others, which are rich in minerals such as magnesium and potassium. These minerals play crucial roles in regulating blood pressure levels and supporting overall cardiovascular health.

Mixed Millet Nut Powder-Mixed millet nut powder is rich in essential nutrients such as vitamins (especially B vitamins), minerals (like magnesium, potassium, and zinc), and antioxidants. These nutrients play important roles in overall health and can contribute to better blood pressure regulation.

Jowar Instant Idly and Dosa Mix Powder- By incorporating jowar idly and dosa mix into a balanced diet that includes other heart-healthy foods like vegetables and lean proteins, individuals can potentially improve blood pressure management and overall cardiovascular well-being.

Consumption:

Foxtail and Little Millet: Since these millets play a major role in blood pressure management, they can be consumed on a daily basis to potentially maintain stable blood pressure levels.

Kodo and Barnyard Millet: These can be included in the diet weekly, around two times per week. This frequency allows for dietary variety and ensures you benefit from the nutrients each type of millet offers.

Preparation:

To prepare java, take a few tablespoons of the mixed millets java powder and mix it with water or milk in a pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, until it thickens to your desired consistency. You can add sweeteners like sugar or jaggery, and flavorings like cardamom powder if desired. You can consume Mixed Millet Java daily by boiling 3 teaspoons of the powder in a glass of water daily.

You can add one teaspoon of mixed millet nut powder to a glass of hot water or milk (150ml).

To prepare idly or dosa using the Instant mix, simply add water and a pinch of salt to the idly and dosa mix. Mix well and let it rest for 15-20 minutes. Afterward, you can make idlis or dosas and serve them hot.
